I decided to bring that play to the contemporary world, in a frenzy PLASTIC world.
I'm welcoming counfusing you all coming to Arden, where it SEEMS you can be free.

As *YOU* like it (?), is a misconception of our own reality trying to bring back the butter and bread manufactury at our homes, but at the same time not realising everything is co-optated.

Ich habe beschlossen, dieses Stück in die heutige Welt zu bringen, in eine rasende PLASTIC-Welt.

Ich begrüße es, dass ihr alle nach Arden kommt, wo ihr frei zu sein SCHEINT.
Wie *Ihr* es mögt (?), ist ein Missverständnis unserer eigenen Realität, die versucht, die Butter- und Brotmanufaktur in unseren Häusern zurückzubringen, aber gleichzeitig nicht erkennt, dass alles kooptiert ist.

Shining plastic animals, oversized plastic plants, naked bodies controlled by animatronics, wrestling and exaggerations.

Glänzende Plastiktiere, überdimensionale Plastikpflanzen, nackte Körper, die von Animatronics gesteuert werden, Wrestling und Übertreibungen.

Shakespeare's play ironically addresses the question of why we so idolize our natural state of being human and what that state might really be (if it exists at all!). Ardens pastoral, garden-like setting of Eden features fanciful and exotic animals that might not exist in France. The desire to live a simple and free life is a luxury as the characters try to escape the imposed laws and morals that are seen as errors, but carry all social structures with them as they explore the wilderness. The court is portrayed ironically and pompously, while the forest in the Ardennes is equally ironic and fantastic, and is made entirely of plastic, since it is not possible to live outside the rule of law (deus ex-machina).

The setting and the interpretation of the piece are a critique of today's world, characterized by neoliberalism, where it is not possible to truly ally with others to achieve a different state, and where we are robotically led to our non-existence. The play questions the perception of time, the gender of morality with ambiguous jokes, as well as the meaning of freedom and love and the social constructions that surround them. In the end, both places are the same.

Only the court does not have the courage to be Arden. However, there is confusion about what would be profane and what would be sacred and what would be the natural state of man. Finally, one of the characters says that the one who lives in the court or in the forest is a usurper, because both places are corrupted in some way. The natural man lives in a constant state of war, because we lack many things that used to be regulated and available, but at the same time we enjoy many other pleasures....

KOSTÜM

  The whole concept behind the Arden characters' costumes is all about staying true to the fact that we can't just escape the reality we're living in.

  On one hand, we want to harken back to a simpler, more rustic vibe, like a pastoral setting. On the flip side, all these economic forces are working against us, eating away at any opportunities we have to break free from this situation.

   So, the main characters who reside in the woods would each have their own "Megazord" where they're meant to interact with it while in the Arden Forest.

  Das ganze Konzept hinter diesen Arden Figuren Kostümen dreht sich darum, der Tatsache treu zu bleiben, dass wir der Realität, in der wir leben, nicht einfach entfliehen können.

  Auf der einen Seite wollen wir eine einfachere, rustikalere Atmosphäre schaffen, wie in einer ländlichen Umgebung. Auf der anderen Seite arbeiten all diese wirtschaftlichen Kräfte gegen uns und nehmen uns jede Möglichkeit, aus dieser Situation auszubrechen.
Die Hauptfiguren, die in den Wäldern leben, hätten also jeweils ihr eigenes "Megazord", mit dem sie interagieren sollen, während sie sich im Arden Forest aufhalten.

DEUS EX MACHINA: RESTORING THE NATUAL ORDER

The concept of the magical, oversized dishwasher glove is to serve as the primary ironic element, designed to extinguish any potential desires or connections that might emerge outside the conventional framework. It obliterates all the vibes that dared to operate beyond the confines of social and moral expectations.

Das Konzept des magischen, überdimensionalen Geschirrspülhandschuhs soll als primäres ironisches Element dienen, das alle potenziellen Wünsche oder Verbindungen, die außerhalb des konventionellen Rahmens entstehen könnten, auslöschen soll. Er löscht alle Schwingungen aus, die es wagten, über die Grenzen der sozialen und moralischen Erwartungen hinaus zu agieren.

As a staple of Shakespearean comedy is to end the play with some kind of reunion or wedding, I play with that putting a ring on the glove.

Da es in Shakespeare-Komödien üblich ist, das Stück mit einer Art Wiedervereinigung oder Hochzeit zu beenden, spiele ich mit dem Gedanken, den Handschuh mit einem Ring zu versehen.
